What is an addon domain and how can I create addon domains?

An addon domain is nothing but having a separate website. Usually the addon domain will be hosted to a folder in your public_html folder of your main domain. But that addon domain should be already registered and its name servers should be pointing to the same name servers as your main domain name. There is no way to know that your domain is an addon to your visitors.
